She was predeceased by: her parents, Linn L. Roach and Marion Brush Roach; and her siblings, Harley, Albert and Patricia.

She is survived by: her sisters, Gerri and Kathy; and her son Dale Gerst. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
