She was predeceased by: her parents, William Voyles and Amanda Richter Voyles; her husband J. Robert Shumar; her brother Donald Voyles; and her nephew Curtis Voyles.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley Shumar (Carol Brandt) of Lansdowne, PA., Mark Shumar (Susan Burch) of Boise, ID and Donna Towner (Alan) of Pittsburgh, PA; her sister Mina Jean Moore of Medina, OH; and her granddaughters, Maya Shumar, Gwyneth Shumar, Madeline Towner, Lauren Towner and Maggie Shumar.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Fair Oaks Cares, a benevolent care fund for residents of Fair Oaks of Pittsburgh.
