She was predeceased by: her parents, Genaro Sr. Balenciaga and Anna Kosanovich Balenciaga; and her brothers, Genaro "Sonny" Balenciaga Jr. (Fran) and Stanley "Bunny" Balenciaga (Donna Miller). She is survived by: her husband David A. Forrest; her children, Beth Ann Forrest (Stephen Kist) of Plum and Alexander (Diane) of Canton, OH.; her grandchildren, Ian Kist, Alexis Lingenfelter (Benjamin) and David Forrest; and her great grandchildren, Ford and Tilly Lingenfelter. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. (7450 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Presbyterian Church of Plum Creek (550 Center New Texas Rd, Plum, PA 15239).
