He was predeceased by: his daughter Susan; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Mickey" Rankin (Fricke); his children, Sandy Gorga, Dale Rankin (Renee), Gary Rankin, Duke (Bri), Eric, Devin, Savannah and Danielle; and his sisters, Noreen (late John) and Barbara (Don). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
