He was predeceased by: his son Sean Gittins; his parents, Malcolm and Wilma Gittins, Sr.; and his brother Scotty LaRocca. He is survived by: his children, Samantha Gittins, Caitlin Martin, Brooke Tate and Taylor Tate; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Tiyahna, Amyiah, Alynah, Jacob, Ella and Jackson; his stepfather Sam LaRocca, Sr.; his siblings, Suzanne Weimer, Lisa Powell, Sandy Staffon, Debbie Heckert, Ronnie LaRocca, Sandy LaRocca-Vescio, Shirley LaRocca, Sam LaRocca Jr. and Siggy R. LaRocca; and his close friends, Jason Schiffman and Suzanne Benedict. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
