Marcella Apter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcella Apter (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 22, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Moravitz and Hyman Moravitz; her husband Allan S. Apter; her son Joseph Apter (Jodi Apter); her sibling Flo Mae; her sister-in-law Ethel Halpern; and her grandchild Ari.
She is survived by: her children, Sally, Fred Scheeren, Linda and Jeffrey Mates; her siblings, Stanley Moravitz and Phyllis Weinstein; her brother-in-law Nathaniel Apter; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Brandon (Tanja), Brett (Callie), Blaine, Stacey, Jenna and Aaron; and her great grandchildren, Ari, Brynn, Mia, Mateo, Hailey and Mackenzie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
