Margaret Menges Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Menges of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elwood Gilbert and Emma Johnson Palmer Gilbert; her husband William Charles Menges (Bill); and her brother William Elwood Gilbert, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Judge William C. Menges, Jr. (Martha), Catherine A. Zagunis and James G. Menges (Sally); and her grandchildren, Juliana M. Patty, Sarah Imbierwicz (William), Andrea Showen (Kristopher), Molly Gilbert (Kyle), Marten Zagunis, Mariel Zagunis (Mike Swehla), Merrick Zagunis (Christine Reiter), Lauren Menges (Mark Panny), Meghan Briggs (Justin) and Madeleine Menges. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
