Marian Defazio Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2019, at the age of 93, Marian Defazio (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Josephine Scarpino (Marini) and Amedeo Scarpino; her close friend Rosemary (Sacco); her cousins, Louie, Sam and Tom Grande; her spouse John DeFazio; her children, Patricia Gillespie (David), John Jr (Barb Boyle), Therese Marie (Terri), Joann Martz (Francis), Rosemarie Panza and Anthony Amedeo; and her grandchild Sundays. She was also cherished by 25 grandchildren and was often heard saying that she loved her children, but that was nothing like the way she loved her grandchildren.
In recognition of her devotion to family and commitment to family dinners, the DeFazio family encourages you to consider having a family dinner with your loved ones in lieu of flowers.
