He was predeceased by: his son Joseph "Joey" Chelli; his parents, Mariano C. "Dutch" and Catherine Chelli (Conte); and his sister Josephine Trapani. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Kaye Chelli (Funk); his son Mario Chelli (Christine); his grandchildren, Joey, Kaysia, Luca Chelli, Alivia and Damon Brown; his sibling's children, Angela, Michael and Kevin Trapani (Jacqueline); his great-nieces and great-nephews, A. J., Gia and Gabriella Trapani; his brothers-in-law, Bob (Becky), Bill (Pat), Jeff (Carrie) and Craig Funk (Ruth); and his cousins, Amy and Stephen Brown.
Masks, social distancing and a limit of 25 persons in the funeral home at one time will be required due to current Allegheny County rules in effect.
