She was predeceased by: her husband Richard P. Claypoole. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Marcelli (Joe) and Rick Claypoole (Kathy); her grandchildren, Matthew, Madeline, Annabelle and Willem; and her siblings, Joseph Sprumont (Karen) and Lorraine Menk (Doug). She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. (7450 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Joy Church (2000 O'Block Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15239).
In lieu of flowers and to honor Marie's charitable nature, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 730 Church St., New Kensington, PA 15068.
