She was predeceased by: her husband Henry P. Cortese, Sr.; her son Ronald Cortese; her brother Frank Sonetti (Lena); and her parents, Salvatore Sonetti and Orsolina Sonetti (Meloni).
She is survived by: her children, Connie Tortoreti (Russell), Cathy Cortese (late Frank Pikutis), Donna Staats (David), Rico Cortese (late Colleen), Robert Cortese (Kathy) and Michael Cortese (Mimi); and her siblings, John Sonetti (Lisa), Anthony Sonetti, Alvina Ziccardi (Ted) and Rose Marie Angel. She is also survived by Eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
