She was predeceased by: her parents, Giosafatte Alfonsi and Felicia Alfonsi; her husband Anthony Gabriel; and her siblings, Martin, Jack, Tony, Thomas and Eleanor Ficorilli.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Gabriel (Sandy), Patricia McAuley (Arthur), Marcia Fox (late Michael) and Maria Scapellato (Francis); and her grandchildren, Nicole, Erika, Virginia, Natalie, Mary Kate, Nicholas and Joseph.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, viewing, funeral and burial services will be private.
The Foundation was formed by former Steelers quarterback and Steel Valley High School graduate Charlie Batch and provides educational programming to children in underserved communities in the Pittsburgh area.
