It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maura Moran (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Patrick Moran; her parents, Francis Fleeson and Regina Fleeson; her brother Frank Fleeson; her nieces, Paula Heinicka and Terry Cherven; and her godson Joshua Walsh.
She is survived by: her children, Michael John Moran (Rebecca) and Jeannie Moran Gardner (Seth); her grandchildren, Fiona Foley Moran, Lyra Lee Gardner, Sullivan Joshua Gardner and John Patrick Moran; her sister Sheila Burns (Jack); and her niece Brittney Moran.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of her and her countless family members who lost their battles with cancer.
