He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his son Jim Ellwood (Tracy); his grandsons, Adam Ellwood, Michael and Thomas Zandhuis; his sister Eileen (Richard); and his friend Mary Ann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
