He is survived by: his former spouse Mochelle Ashby; his children, Mikeyla Broadnax, Michael Broadnax, Jr. and Maralin Broadnax; his grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Jalen Chapman, Michael Broadnax III, Ava Broadnax, Alevia Thomas, Bella Broadnax, Keylan Thomas and Priya Broadnax; and his siblings, Nancy Pendleton, Brenda Petite of Eden, NC and Fred Broadnax Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
