He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Cartney; and his sister Dolores Schupbach. He is survived by: his children, Michael S. Cartney (Gail), Ken W. Cartney and Susan M. Piasecki (Martin); his grandchildren, Rebecca Evans (Ericke), Angela Blystone (Chad), Michael G. Cartney and Jesse Cartney (Paula); and his great grandchildren, Steven, David, Austin Evans, Eliana, Zeta, Sullivan Blystone, Jensen, Nora Cartney and Proceeded. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
