He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Terry; his children, Benjamin Varat (Deborah), Patrick Nold (Raphaela) and Jessica Varat (Nikolai); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jesse, Tassilo, Isidor and Hatcher; and his brothers, Jonathan, Harvey and Joshua.
