He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Takacs and Mary Takacs (Wagner); and his siblings, Irene Davis, Mildred Voynick, Edward, Leonard, Michael, Vincent and William "Moe" Takacs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
