He is survived by: his daughters, Erica Tolin of Pittsburgh and Ingrid Reid (Samuel) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Violet, Amelia Tolin, Erik, Anders and Oskar Reid; his brother Paul Highberg of Vermont; and his former wife Vivian Highberg of Florida.
