He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Ann "Peggy" (Thieken); his parents, Peter J. Obringer and Viola Obringer (Stein); and his sister Aurelia "Mutz" Sefchick (Paul). He is survived by: his children, Edward Obringer (Amy), Patty Obringer and Deborah Fromherz (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Alex, Jake, Holly Obringer, Eric and Marc Fromherz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
