Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Philip Faria of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born in Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away, on November 14, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie C. Faria and Emmanuel P. Faria; and his sister Marie Picken. He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Faria; his children, Mary T. Faria, Julianne Faria, Christine F. Miller, Camille L. Faria and Proud; his grandchildren, Michael Faria Miller and Catherine Taylor Miller; and his siblings, Paul Faria and Louise MacNeil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cherished friends.

“Phil and I met on a pier in Chicago called "Navy". We were vets yet new to the campus called Illinois. To make ends meet he manned the check-in station of a Near North Side Chicago Hotel. I drove a Yellow Taxi. Yet the payoff was our friendship, Jan, please accept our sincere sympathy. You had a great man. We lost a great friend. ----------John and Joan Reddy”
