He is survived by: his wife Joan Nelson; his children, Jamella of Pittsburgh, PA and Ray Jr. (Catherine) of Manassas, VA; his grandchildren, Khai, Charlotte and Madelynn; and his siblings, Margaret of Atlanta, GA, Theodore of Atlanta, GA and Dennis of Norfolk, VA. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
