He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Ruth" Breitenbach Costello; his sister Eleanor "Ellie" Nicholson of Washington; his children, Marilyn Markoff (Ed) and Edward Costello (Carla); his grandchildren, Hayley Hinkle (Tim), Steve Markoff, Ryan Costello and Evan Costello; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Hinkle and Mackenzie Hinkle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
