She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Huttinger (Huber) and Edward W. Huttinger; her husband James P. Schmidt; and her daughter Mary Lynn Schmidt. She is survived by: her son Bryan Schmidt (Ruth); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wilczynski (Victor), Kenneth Schmidt (Michelle) and Anastasia Wilczynski; her son Mark Schmidt (Patricia); her grandchildren, Jennifer Haines, Maxwell Schmidt, Shannon Keely, Ellie Haines, Zeke and Isis Dickey; her brother David Huttinger (Carol); and her sibling's children, Lisa Huttinger and Eric Huttinger (Jennifer).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home (460 Lincoln Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
