She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilber Lawrence Wilson and Rosa-May Addason; her siblings, Emmitt, Noel, Westley, Jackie and Rosetta; her spouse Jimmie Lee Simmons Sr.; her children, Jimmie Lee Simmons Jr. and Gregory Alan Simmons; her grandchildren, Aaron, Alisha, Preston, Leah and Clarissa; and her great grandchildren, Rashaun, Lekeisa, Zachary and Shiloh. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
