He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brown and Neil "Nannie" Wade Brown; and his siblings, Lawrence "Newtyboy" Brown, Ella Hill, James "Woody" Brown, Alma Brown, Lois Lewis, Paul "Douglas" Brown and Earl "Lemuel" Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Brown (Rebecca), Michael Brown, Lindsay Jackson (Lorenzo) and Laci Brown; his sister Barbara King; his grandchildren, Bobby, Alexandria, Xavier, Kalani, Miles, Laylah, Zachary, Suniyah and Matthew; and his sibling's children, Lynette, Bernie and Terry.
