He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Speer and Harold Speer. He is survived by: his child Glenn Speer (Jessica); his grandchild Brooklyn Speer; his siblings, Esther Jurick (late Thomas) and Robert Speer (Debra); and his stepbrother William Watters (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
