We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025, at the age of 87, Ronald Rocco Fortunato (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fortunato and Angeline Fortunato; his brother Richard; and his daughter Joanne. He is survived by: his wife Angela Teresa Fortunato (Sugar); his children, Thomas (Lorri) and Michael (Jill); his grandchildren, Steven Welsh, Joseph (Samantha), Ronald (Maureen), Rachel and Jeremy; his great grandchildren, Leonardo, Atlas and Rocco; and his brothers, Alvin (Arlene) and Joseph (Barb).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection (1100 Creedmoor Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15226).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Benedictine Nuns at Saint Emma Monastery, 1001 Harvey Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601 (http://www.stemma.org) in his name.
