He was predeceased by: his parents, John Salamon and Mary Salamon (Lapiska). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Salamon; his children, Michael Salamon (Jennifer), Marlene Story (Scott) and Erin Salamon; his sister Judy Appelt (Ed); his grandchildren, Christopher Story, Roman Salamon, Cameron Story and Oliver Salamon; his nephew James Wadding; and his pets, Sally, Baxter, Bailey, Cali and Zona. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home (460 Lincoln Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Regina Coeli Parish-Church (45 N Sprague Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202).
