He is survived by: his wife Bernice Williams Battle; his children, Nathan Battle, David Battle, Clarence Battle (Charlene), Lawrence Battle (Linda), Douglas Battle, Tampa, Linda Battle Giles (Samuel III) of Phoenix, AZ, Lorraine Battle and Laverne Battle; his grandchildren, Wayne Weaver, Nathan Battle Jr., Ronnie Battle, Tyian Battle, Danai Battle, Nikki Cain, William LaMar Battle, LaVaugh Battle, Maurice Battle, Justine Battle, LaSonda Williams, Jamela Williams, Sharawn Battle, Douglas Battle Jr., Hassan Battle and Nina Battle; and his great grandchildren, Sharlean Weaver, Cierra Weaver, Travis Weaver, Nathan Battle, III, Twanye Weaver, Sidney Weaver, Jonathan Young, Jon, Young, Angelo Burgher, Adrian Burgher, Andrew Burgher, Nadia Cain, Qwimar Battle, William LaMar Battle, Jr., NiZhaya Battle, Shavon Battle, Tre, Amore Joey, Jahsiya Baskin, Dierreronna Williams and Carter Battle.
