It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth L. Gassette (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Mae Ponder Edmondson and Kenneth Wright. She is survived by: her stepfather Melvin Edmondson; her husband Harry Gassette; her children, Gail Gassette, Reneice Gassette, Sharon Jones (Gregory) and Terrance Gassette (Vanessa); and her siblings, Herbert Ponder (Edith), Gary Edmondson (Joyce) and Iris Edmondson. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
