He was predeceased by: his spouse Agnes McKee (Rohm); and his child Kathleen McKee. He is survived by: his children, Sam McKee, James McKee (late Bonnie) and Patricia Tedeski; his sibling Jack McKee; and his grandchildren, Tara, Jim, Shanna McKee, Jon, Heather and Adam Kulwicki. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
