He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Berman and Myer Berman; and his brother Alvin E. Berman. He is survived by: his children, Stuart Berman of Los Angeles, CA and Elyse Eichner (Marty) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Alanna Maya (Salomon), Mia Berman, Scott Eichner (Tracy), Adam Berman, Max Eichner and Erica Pierce (Stephen); and his great grandchild Jacob Maya.

Donations in his memory can be made to the New Riverview, 52 Garetta Street, Pittsburgh PA, 15217, part of the Jewish Association on Aging.
