He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Christine Gallagher (Betschart); his parents, Debra Ishida and Tim Ishida; his sibling Maureen Carricato (Noah Stern); his parents-in-law, Robert and Laura Betschart; his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Veneziano (Phil) and Melissa Lovewell (Gary); his nephews, Philip, Lucas, Max, Colson and Harrison; and his niece Shelby.
