She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Obed Berrien-Medley and Viola Berrien-Medley; her brother Charles Medley; her children, Cecil Broadus (Verdis), Michael Broadus and JoAnn Owens (Victor); her stepdaughters, Tracey Gailes and Michelle Gailes; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Broadus, Phillip Broadus, Marvin Roberson, Victor Owens (Christa), Pamela Owens and Benjamin Owens; and her brothers, Donald Medley and Varnell Medley (Lena). She was also cherished by nephews, nieces, relatives and dear friends.
