He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Salopek and Anita Salopek (Torbich). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Sacco-Cato); his children, Josh Cato (Jeanette), Erin Sikorski (Jonathan) and Justin Cato (Janelle); his brother Joe Salopek (Helene); and his sister-in-law Joanne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Steven's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
