He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Belt and Lula Mae Belt (Reeves). He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn (Sanford); his son Barry; and his siblings, William, Douglas (Sheila) and Tricia.

He donated frequently to the Light of Life Mission so in lieu of flowers any donations in his name would be appreciated.
