He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Ann Schaum (Andrunas); his daughter Tina Shannon; his parents, Herman Schaum and Jennie Schaum; and his brother Anthony.

He is survived by : his granddaughter Jessica Shannon; his sisters, Lorraine and Christine (John); and his cousins, Carmen, Dee Moranti, Cliff Moeller and Buddy.
