He was predeceased by: his spouse Pat A. Shaheen; his child Travis Shaheen; and his sibling Jimmy. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Shaheen (Karen) and Tracy L. Teckmeyer (Fred); his siblings, Joseph, Mona Ayoub, Samira (Harry Hagerty), Haleh Young (Michael), Johnny, Alfred "Fred", Suad Khoury and Samuel; his grandchildren, Presley Teckmeyer, Sarah, Rachel, Nicole Shaheen and Alyssa McCoy; and his friends, Ben and Ruth Logan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
