She was predeceased by: her husband Peter P. Poland; her parents, Veronica Pappas and James Pappas; and her sisters, Alice and Dolores Pappas.
She is survived by: her sons, Peter J. Poland (late Karen Simon-Poland), Dennis M. Poland and James S. Poland (Rebecca Schneid); and her grandchildren, Peter S. Poland (Andrea), Eugenia B. Knudsen (Anders), Jennifer Wahlig (John), Carolyn O'Leary (Matthew), Dennis Poland (Lauren), James S. Poland, II, Alyson Skaggs (Thomas), Elizabeth Poland (Cullen Maag) and Kathleen Campbell (Jeremy). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral (419 S Dithridge St, Pittsburgh, PA 15213).
