He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Margaret Skeehan Lackner (Judy); his children, Margaret Anne, Vincent, Jr. (Anne), John Lackner and David Lackner (Lynn); his grandchildren, Christiana (Nicolas), Katarina, Ashley Cortright (Jimmy), Kyle (Leyla), Jordan and Abigail (Maany); his siblings, Joseph Lackner (Mary) and Msgr; and his parents, Frank A. Lackner and Marguerite Hamill Lackner. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.
