He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Duke (Richardson) of Georgia and Matthew James Duke; and his daughter Leona Duke. He is survived by: his former wife Blanche D. McLamb; his children, Mary Duke, William M. Duke, Velma Minniefield (Lenny), Garry Duke Sr. and Sherry Perkins (Gregory II); and his sisters-in-law, Marcella Duke and Barbara Duke. He is also survived by his children, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
