He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Diesner Gormly; his daughters, Kellie Gormly of Pittsburgh, PA and Kirsten Gormly Ghaster (Brad) of Phoenix, Arizona; and his sister Christine Whitten of Connecticut. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
