We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2020, at the age of 94, William T. Boland in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Boland and Mary Isabelle Boland (Litzinger); and his sisters, Lois O'Friel (George) and Catherine. He is survived by: his wife Winifred (Fleming); his children, Kevin (Fay), Bryan (Colleen) and Jane Keough (Christopher); his grandchildren, James (Jessica), Kelly, Terence (Kim), Garrett, Daniel, Ian, Nathan Boland, Abigail, Patrick Boland, William and Erin Keough; his great grandchildren, Aidan Bronkar, Avery, Brie, Finley Boland and Jaxon Boland; and his sister Mary Ann Steinbugl (Ray).
Family and close friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 4-6 p. m. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, UPMC Montefiore, Suite 421 West, 200 Lothrop Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, the Angelman Syndrome Foundation (http://www.angelman.org) or the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (http://www.cureangelman.org).
