She is survived by: her sons, James Lawrence Carr of Washington, D. C. and Robert David Carr of Albuquerque, NM; her grandchildren, Jennifer Carr of Tuscaloosa, AL and Matthew Carr of Washington, D. C.; and her sister Elizabeth Moore of Oakland, CA..
