He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Mihalka and Helen Mihalka (Boyanowski). He is survived by: his brother Joseph (Elizabeth) of Pittston Twp; his sibling's children, Joseph (Amy), Mark (Jeanna) and Christy (Robert Savakinas) of Pittston Twp; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sarah, Magan, Maura Mihalka, Max, Madelyn Mihalka, Robert and Emily Savakinas. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dupont Hose Company, 308 Main St., Dupont, PA 18641 A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 8th, 2019 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 217 Lackawanna Ave., Dupont with Fr. Thomas Petro officiating.
