James A. Rooney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Rooney of Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 18, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Mary Hennigan Rooney; and his siblings, Mary Dunne (Tom), Naomi Gilmartin (Bill), Bill (Mary), George, Leo (Genevieve), Gene, Jerry and Jackie.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Nocera and Jim T. (Mary Theresa); his grandchildren, Curtis Nocera (Nicole), Justin Nocera, Sean Rooney (Brittany) and Katie Rooney; his great grandchild Isla Rooney; and his sisters-in-law, Esther Rooney and Patricia Rooney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to Care and Concern Ministries of St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston, PA 18640.
