It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Pavidus (Pittston, Pennsylvania), born in Wyoming, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Pavidus and Josephine Klimaszewski Pavidus; his siblings, Daniel, Bernadine Petroff and Florence Biagiotti; and his great grandchildren, Laura and Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Pavidus (Zavada); his children, Maureen (Robert Dovin) of Exeter, Andrea (Thomas Kyttle) of Exeter, JoEllen (Gerald Turner) of Exeter and John Michael (Cindy); his grandchildren, Brian, Eric Dovin, Valerie, Robert Shrey, Justina Kleman, Jon Tyler and Ryan Pavidus; and his siblings, Mary Darling and Joseph Pavidus (Burma). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with federal and state guidelines arising from the Covid-19 virus, facial coverings and social distancing will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Social Concerns and Outreach at St. Barbara Parish.
