He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Opiela of Dupont and Gerri Opiela (Chesslock) of Pittston; and his grandparents, Vincent, Bernadine Chesslock and Bernard Opiela.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Janet Weiss Children's Hospital, 100 North Academy Ave., Danville, PA 17822.
