It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel A. Falcone Sr. (Pittston, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 12, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmelo Falcone and Calogera "Carrie" Zanta Falcone; his wife Yolanda M. Falcone (Gatti); his grandson Patrick Saporito; his siblings, Raymond, Leonard, Angelo Falcone, Tina Falcone Viola and Eleanor Falcone; and his brother-in-law Michael (Rosalie Viola).
He is survived by: his children, Carmen Falcone (Carmella), Pittston, Tina (Richard Rava), Moscow, Giovanna (The Honorable Joseph), Saporito Jr., Attorney Samuel A. Falcone Jr. (Suzanne) and Jenkins Twp; his grandchildren, Santina Falcone Vieira (Bobby), Samuel Falcone, Carmen Falcone Jr., Rick Rava (Brandy), Michael Rava (Brooke), Matthew Rava, Sarah Saporito Ginder (Graham), Joseph F. Saporito III, Tianna Falcone, Elana Falcone and Angelina Y. Falcone; his great grandchildren, Alia Rava, Rocco Rava and Mia Rava; his brothers, Charles Falcone (Irene) and Carmen Falcone (Eva Mae); and his sisters-in-law, Sandra, Beverly and Barbara Falcone.
